The Museum is in the small town Classe, 6 km south of Ravenna, It is an exhibition area of 2,600 square meters, surrounded by a 1.5 hectare park always open to the public, to give a testimony of the historical identity of Ravenna and Classe, where archaeological materials and modern technological supports contribute to the same exciting story. The recovery of the former sugar factory of Classe, seat of the Museum, is at the heart of the history of our territory, shaped and modified by the tenacity of the people who lived there.
Access: In order to verify your ticket, you need to present yourself at the ticket office.
Any reductions will be verified at the entrance.
About 400 metres from the Classis is the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Classe and only 2 km away, the site of the Ancient Port of Classe which together with the Museum make up the tourist-cultural circuit of the ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK OF CLASS.
